Are there different types of rooms (Suites, standard rooms etc.)? 
  There are deluxe and super-deluxe rooms on the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels which have attached bathrooms/toilets. Passengers in the saloons do not share the bathrooms with anyone else. The interiors of these deluxe and super-deluxe saloons are different.
   
What are acceptable modes of payment?
 

We welcome Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover cards or Personal Checks drawn on a US bank. We can provide wire transfer details if you would like to send the payment by bank transfer.

   
Do you charge anything extra for credit card processing?
 

Absolutely not. 

   
How soon should I book?
 

Our recommendation is to book as soon as you have an idea of when you would be traveling. The rooms for peak season get sold out 8-10 months before departure. It will be in your best interest to book early in order to avoid disappointment later. 

   
Do you work with travel agents?
 

Sure. Our travel trade colleagues who promote Royal Rajasthan on Wheels are our biggest strength and we welcome travel agent inquiries.

   
What is the capacity of the train?
 

There are 39 deluxe saloons and 2 super-deluxe saloons on the train and they are allocated to Single and Double occupancies. The number of passengers really depends on the occupancies sold in that departure, but as a ball-park, there are 80 passengers on any fully-booked tour.

   
Is there a waiting list for sold out dates?
 

Yes, we maintain a waiting list for the sold out departure dates for the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels. If you find a tour date that you really want and it is sold out, please contact us for adding your name to the waiting list and we will call you as soon as something becomes available.

   
Is laundry service available on train?
 

Yes the laundry service is available to serve you better.

   
Are currency exchange services available?
 

The foreign currency exchange service is available at the hotel counters.

   
What are the other features of the saloons?
 

The saloons have been designed with channel music system and there is a special safe in all the saloons to store your valuables.  

   
Can I directly book my trip without the tour agent?

Your Royal Train offers a variety of cuisines to suit you palette. We will appreciate if you don not bring outside eatables on board.
